Did an art trade with black-cat-otaku And drew her "Baby" in non-chibi form! This was a very odd drawing to do and it wasn't planned at all... which made it a bit odd. But I did it nonetheless! Watch the Speedpaint of this drawing! www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZozsSJ… Favorite, comment even if it's a simple "good" it helps me continue! Don't forget to check out my gallery, you might find some pretty cool shtuff there!
I like the border that you gave it (I probably would've done it the hard way and drew all the spikes and semi-circles)
And the colors :3 I wanna eat them.
I think if one thing that's throwing me off it would be his shoulder closest to the reader, it seems like it needs to be brought in a little. probably where you put the seam of the sleeve. Bringing that up would help
the strip of white is the same width throughout. Objects further away gradually get smaller. So the strip should get smaller as it moves away from the viewer. It'll also help define the character's figure too, aside those two minor things, its a nice on the eyes sort of image c:
That shoulder has been bothering me too. But it's just one of those things you realize after you start colouring x.x Ah that's probably true... I was so lazy with the stripes. I really didn't want to do those... But I had to.. I had too.... Q.Q
It was a very odd drawing to do... honestly, I can't even bring myself to watch the speedpaint since I hated drawing this so much lD
Your parents let you draw on your walls!?! that's so cool X3 I mean my parents let me do what I want on my walls but they're that dry wall with all the bumps in it making it impossible to draw on. Painting is difficult too >.>
You could always buy a bucket of paint and paint over the lineart so you have a WHOLE NEW CANVAS : D
Yeah... Since we own our house my parents got all excited when we moved and were like "Do whatever you want!" it was long ago... they're terrible... But my walls are pretty bumpy too D: my old walls were brick so it'd be hell to draw on o.o
My mom has suggested that we repaint my walls so I can start anew, so I mean, I've been considering it :3
I'd feel brick would be better to draw on than that drywall stuff. A different picture for each brick xD but what do I know.
You should! then you don't have to see the old work. and it would be uniquely yours. and when you move it'll be a surprise for the next people who come along into the house. Or you could just take it with you.
It could be like a metaphor. The old drawings are a foundation for you knew drawings :<>
